The Training Collaborative is engaged in the training of Outdoor Recreational specialists who are working with Queensland Baptists Camping and Conference arm, QCCC and students from Cooloola Christian College (CCC). It is an “in house” training program and as such students are recruited by QCCC and CCC. We do not accept learners into the Outdoor Recreation qualifications who are external to QCCC and CCC. You can read more information about QCCC here
In order to support the expansion of trained Outdoor Recreation specialists at QCCC, TTC has is registration as a “Pre Qualified Supplier” (PQS) with the Queensland Department of Education and Training. This enables TTC to offer subsidised training to people engaged in the Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation, who meet a range of criteria, including not having a vocational qualification higher than a Certificate II, or a Higher Education qualification.
The Queensland Government will partly cover the cost of the training for eligible learners, and QCCC will cover a co-contribution to TTC where an arrangement has been entered into between the learner and QCCC that extends to employment with QCCC. In this situation the co-contribution fee is $720 (24 Units of Competency @ $30 each). The detail of the cost of the fees, including co-contribution charges can be found in the information booklet which can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this page. Any learner entering into this agreement will be required to read and acknowledge his/her understanding of TTC’s refund policy (included in the information booklet) as part of the enrolment process.
Part of TTC’s obligations to the Department as a PQS is to publish a copy of our most recent AQTF audit report which can be downloaded from the link below.
